Jerome Carter has newly founded AGILETYX (pronounced: ajaletics) to bring world class speed and agility training to young athletes in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
In 1988 Jerome set an American Record in the high jump clearing 7’ 9 ½”. An extraordinary feat considering Jerome stands only 6’ 1” tall. In the previous year (1987) he won the U.S. National Championship in San Jose, Ca. with a winning jump of 7’ 7”. As a world class high jumper, Jerome not only traveled the globe but took advantage of opportunities to train and reside in other countries. He has trained with several world record holders and gained unique insight to different training methodologies.
Jerome attributes his success on the track to his strong family background and strong faith in God. His parents, brothers and even extended family members were a constant source of encouragement. He shares in the belief that is our family name, one must FocusToWin. With so many options, both bad and good, for today’s youth it is important to surround ambitious spirits with lighthouse individuals to show the way, to guide them around missteps and prepare them for their aspiration.
